Last Post on My Blog Premiere

WOW!!!! I can't believe this is my last post on MomK Blog Premiere. What a journey! I want to thank all my classmates and professor for all their support and encouragement along the way. There were many sleepless nights, tears, anger, frustration, and JOY - when I finally got it right!! I would hold my breath when pushing that "enter" key and I'd either scream for joy and excitement for success or scream and want to throw my computer out the window! Special thanks to my family for putting up with me throughout those sleepless/cranky times - SORRY! But it's all worth it - thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Until next time.......Kim

SS3 Integration

I found this final spreadsheet assignment to be a mix of emotions while developing it. I found my mind wondering from post to post, resource to resource, link to link, format to format, function to function, etc.... It was a BIG relief to have all the information into ONE place!! Well, I think and hope it is!! Click on the link to view my SS3 Integration project:

Wow - getting easier - I think????

Wow, I am amazed at how easy it is for me to post something onto my blog now. In the beginning of this class, it took me 2 weeks just to figure out what format to put items in for them to be posted, embedded, saved, published, etc... Now, I REALLY hope I didn't just jinx myself in writing this post!!

SS2-Grades 2 Spreadsheet

So far doing the Grades 2 (SS2) Spreadsheet hasn't been too difficult for me - that's if I'm actually doing it correctly! I did add a couple extra columns in the spreadsheet to configure the needed quantities for the final grades and letter grades.

SS1 Graph - Final Grades

SS1

The SS1 assignment was interesting. I've never used Grade Book in the classroom but know that it is used in many school districts. It seems that it would be very user friendly and helpful. My home desktop computer does not have Excel on it so I journeyed to my parents house and used their computer for the Spreadsheet. Downloaded spreadsheet to google documents. Then I continued from there on my desktop at home. I'm not real sure everything transferred accurately, but I got the information needed and posted to my blog!

Ranking Tool

When I was first assigned a partner project with Vanessa I was feeling really sorry for her. Although I have accomplished most tasks in this class, I am a bit slower than most. I really panicked when I called her and found out she lives 2 1/2 hours away from me. However, we developed a game plan together and this entire partner experience for me has been wonderful! Vanessa was very supportive and helpful and I felt so relaxed and more confident after speaking with her and completing our assignment together. Thank you so much Vanessa for such a positive partner experience!
Our selection using the 9 planets in our Ranking Tool assignment turned out to be just right. Our goal is for the students to identify the 9 planets and rank them by distance from the sun. We developed two teams of students. One team is called Moon and the other team is called Stars. We also offer links to a couple resources in our Ranking Tool assignment. Here is the link to our Ranking Tool site http://sites.google.com/site/planetsprojectsite
