Wow, I've have learned a wealth of information today. I have totally realized how "behind" in technology I am for one. Secondly, I have experienced first-hand the frustration of being a "perfectionistic" student struggling to even get the basics accomplished and submitted to the appropriate web sites and people. Although I have been challenged to the "max" these past 2 days, I have enjoyed learning a great wealth of information already. These are skills to enhance not only myself but to pass along to students in my teaching also. I have enjoyed reading everyone's blogs and appreciate the positive feedback I have received. Until next time...... Kim
I am so excited I figured out how to change the background colors of my blog. Sounds simple to some, exciting and rewarding for others -"me"- LOL! My brain is on overload with all the different options and sites I've viewed over the past few days. I get back to them eventually - after a few hours! Until next time....Kim
I have a B.S. ElEd from 1984 - YES - 24 years ago - from Bloomsburg University of PA. My husband passed away in Dec. 2006 from diabetes complications. I have 23 year-old identical twin daughters at WVU (sorry FSU) and a 16 year-old daughter in 11th grade that I haven't decided if she's trying to "keep me young" or "age me faster" these days - LOL! My most recent teaching experience was in PA teaching grades 6,7,8 Remedial Reading on emergency certificate. I transferred my PA certificate to WV upon moving to WV and am now trying to "join the ranks" of graduate school. Wow, 3 grad. students in one house at a time - yikes!!
